A slow meat feast

Come feast on meat a la Argentine style!

An Argentine parillada is a meat based meal that is typically eaten over a number of hours as each cut of meat becomes ready.

A grill full of meat!

There will be sausages, bread, assorted chicken, turkey and beef cuts.

There will be sides on the table to enjoy with the meat and between the meat courses.

As I don't have my wine/beer license yet, if you'd like wine or beer during the meal, please feel free to bring your own.

We will conclude the feast with a typical Argentine ‘campesino’ dessert! (You’ll have to attend to learn what that is!)

The quincho is open so please dress according to the weather, although I will have heat lamps if it's cold!

Price for the Slow Meat Feast is $100 per person.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to advance planning and supplies necessary to coordinate the Slow Meat Feast event there are no refunds available. We ask that if you find yourself unavailable to attend the event on 01/01/2022 that you find someone to take your place. If you need assistance in locating another interested individual we would be happy to help share the opportunity for someone else to attend.

Overnight Accommodations Suggestions:

There are some wonderful bed and breakfast in Palestine, TX (approx 25 minutes from the ranch) where you can spend the night.

If you’re looking for a VRBO, there are a couple in Palestine, and there’s a 1970’s ranch house on a working cattle ranch that can sleep 14 people which is 15 minutes from the ranch in Oakwood.

There are also hotels in Buffalo (west of the ranch) and Palestine (east of the ranch). Both are approximately 25 minutes from the ranch.
